Hi crackgmat.. How did you get the ansers as C ?

Could you post the steps ?

X+4=1
X=-3

Y+4=-5
y=-9

X+E=7
E=10

Y+E=N
N=1

Z+E=10
Z=0

Z+4=m
M=4

M+N=4+1=5
