afzal1989,

You appear to have a strong profile, though it's unclear how much leadership there is behind the assistant manager role and the youth volunteer organization. Your international educational experience, your strong-brand employers, and your Bangladeshi background are all good assets for you. Depending on the depth of your leadership, you could be competitive or at least a 'reach' applicant at most top finance business schools. I worked with a Bangladeshi applicant admitted to a top 10 U.S. business school last year. Feel free to send me your CV for a closer look.

Hi Afzal


Generally most of the applicants have good 4-5 years of work experience. Although it is not just the work experience that counts but also what you did there like-what were your achievements, what initiative you took, what changes you drove in your workplace etc. So if you can show that in 3-4 years you have demonstrated the skills business schools are looking for you could still put in a strong set of essays.

Your ECA is impressive so make sure you highlight this well.
