I'm planning on applying for CSU Fullerton's Fully Employed MBA (FEMBA) program this August. I've done my research into their program and they don't require a minimum GMAT score but their FEMBA program has an average score of 500 with a 3.1 GPA.

I graduated back in 2002 with a degree in Business Administration with a 3.25 GPA and 8 years of relevant work experience but my GMAT score was below their average. I know if I'm admitted, I'll have to take some courses to make up for my low GMAT score but my question is, what are my chances of being accepted? I do plan on taking the GMAT again to improve my score and avoid taking those 1-2 extra classes.

Thank you for your help and any advice/recommendations you could offer would be appreciated.

Hello,

Your chances depend in part on how low your under-the-average GMAT was. If only slightly below average, and your application otherwise is strong, it may not matter much. If a lot, it will matter more. Other factors would have a bearing too, such as quality and nature of your work experience.
