Hello GMATTERS,

My maiden voyage for the GMAT is scheduled for one week from today. As I prepare, I'm curious as to how others' practice scores(both the MBA.Com practice CAT, or any other platform, such as Manhattan) have compared to the the actual scores received on game day. A little background about my study plan and practices:

MGMAT #4: Q40 V44 700
MGMAT #5: Q46 V41 710
MBA.COM Official CAT: Q42 V42 700

I have two questions for everyone:
1)How have your practice scores compared to the real thing?
2)If a big change did occur (much lower or higher than the practice), what factors do you think influenced the change?

I'm very interested to hear what the community has to say and thanks in advance!

1.+/- 30 Points of your GMATPrep score, if you have taken the test with full simulated conditions as in with AWA and strict 8 min break. Take the other one as well. Don't take any mock tests too close to the real exam.

2.Big change will either be because of exam fear/stress/anxiety or you haven't simulated the test with official conditions. (with AWA or 8 min breaks)
Getting defeated is just a temporary notion, giving it up is what makes it permanent.
