Hello All,
Today I think ,I can write my story too ,I always wanted to do this but I was waiting for fine score, gave my
GMAT today, got a score of 670, obviously not the best but surely something I can cheer for.
so lets start the GMAT journey as I am not longer planning to give another GMAT, this score is decent enough at this point.
I gave GMAT three time, score varied drastically since last GMAT.
for the last two month my preparations was not going well, so was not sure how I will do today but thought to try one time without any pressure and it worked.
last night ,had a good night sleep, not much of work otherwise the working hours extends beyond 12 PM everyday, but it was Friday so good.
Woke up in the morning, was relaxed took my protein shake for the break fast, exam center was 2.5 miles from my hours, I like to ride so decided to bike all the way to the exam center, coordinates were pretty much clear, so reached there on time.
examination center people were really nice and friendly, stiarted my exam ,took first optional break ,got extended by 4 minutes, so lost sometime on my Quant and probably that hurted my score a little bit ,so never extend you rest time.
after quant I was feeling fine not very confident tough but I felt that I have done reasonably well,
took another break and started for the verbal section, initially I was doing a bit slow but I think that helped me because I felt that I was applying all the logic that I have gathered while preparing for my GMAT , was never able to do the same in my previous exam, surely the ease helped me.
finally 4 hours of rigorous exercise ended .
Once I thought to cancel the score, but somehow I had a feeling I have done better this time, so reported the score , and got 670 on my screen, I knew that it not the best score people aim for ,I was content and happy.
So overall this story is not something inspiring but what I feel after giving GMAT for three times, this exam is very much about how you handle the pressure and how far you can apply your thinking and logic and calm mode.
Anyways will not make it any longer , fellow GMAT people, advise me how to make a good application with my current score and which schools I can aim for,
I have a 6 years a work ex, in IT industry , with overall 3 years of experience working in US and Europe with various industries.
thanks a lot to all ,
Regards
Abhi
