Question is in image

Image

OA: A

I am stuck over A and B.

A: asbestos are removed from building and dislodged. They were in air and still in air. What is the extra effect while removing.
B: If a person remove asbestos, it will be harmful for him only. It does not effect to others.

Can someone elaborate it?

the argument talks about people who have house and are affected by asbestos, not people who perform removal of it. therefore, B is wrong. A is correct, because it is still in the air and still affect people. it means the removal is useless.

as the question stem asks about ^ THE HEALTH OF THOSE WHO OCCUPY THE BUILDING WOULD BE BETTER PRESERVE....................................... so ^b^ is out of scope.

Hi, the way that I read the question is that we need to find the statement that weakens the conclusion that the health of those who stay in apartments would be best served by not removing the asbestos framings. Option B is neutral to this conclusion.

B: If a person remove asbestos, it will be harmful for him only. It does not effect to others.
check the bold part it's no where stated in option B.
B is wrong as it is out of scope
the only options stood as a contender were A and C
c is wrong as it does not explain anything about removal of asbestos
Many of the great achievements of the world were accomplished by tired and discouraged men who kept on working

GOOD

I got it.

A:Millions of fibers are dislodged. Contaminated air might be even more and wastage of extra effort. So, it does not prefer removing.
B: Does not talk about people who occupy the building
C: Does not talk about removal of asbestos.

Am I right.
