The number of people who can vote for an election is 78 percent of the population. How many of them actually cast their vote?

1. The population of the town is 89,000.
2. 64 percent of the eligible men and 56 percent of the eligible women voted.

Answer - E

1) No clue on how many cast their vote - INSUFF
2) No clue on the men:women ratio - INSUFF

Taking 1 and 2, we would still need the men:women ration to find how many cast their vote.
Thanks
