Should I move forward my GMAT test date?

by cager » Thu May 13, 2010 11:12 am
I just signed up for the in classroom Kaplan.
It ends on 07/22/2010. I had already signed up for my GMAT test date more than a month ago, scheduled for 09/11/2010.

Should I move the test date forward (since I will be fresh out of the Kaplan plan), or should I just leave the 2 months for extra study.

What's your take?

Thanks.

edit:
by move forward, I mean move it earlier.

I probably wouldn't change the date immediately. I think it is very possible that you will want to move it up at some point in the future... but you have the benefit of time right now. Feel it out over the next several weeks. Feel things out and take the time to figure out how far you want to move it forward.

Best of luck!

I agree with Riprop... a month and a half post class may be the perfect time frame. Think about it... it will be summer time so there may be days/weekends when you just aren't feeling it. Also remember that between labor day and the 11th, you'll probably want to start winding down your studying..

on the flip side don't forget about giving yourself enough time to re-take the exam if need be and still meet deadlines...

just see how you feel though...

its good to take a course but your success depends on what you do by yourself
