Hi All,

I am currently having the 2003 edition of Manhattan SC book. Can someone please tell me what is the difference between the 3rd edition and earlier edition. Have things changed in the same ?

Is it worthwhile to buy the new book in case someone has the old book already....like some new concepts added/made better....

What I can see is that the old book had approx. 140 pages but new book has > 200 pages...

Can someone please shed some light on the same ?

Thanks
Mohit

Mohit,

I personally feel that the 3rd edition is way better than the earlier editions. The bulk of the increase in pages is due to an extensive list of idioms (with usage examples/explanation, which I found to be very valuable).

In all topics, MGMAT has extended and explained the nuances that are needed to answer questions in GMATPrep and OG.

MGMAT has just released the 4th edition which, from what I gather, is very similar to the 3rd edition but with updates relating to OG12. You could look at the first few pages (including table of contents) of this book here:

hope this helps.
