If any of you can answer the following questions, I'd be grateful.
1. If an applicant applies in the Early Bird Round and gets an admit, does that mean he/she can NOT apply to other colleges ?
2. What if the applicant applies to two schools and gets an admit from both (assuming ad coms are not connected by some magic internal network) ?
3. What are the advantages of Early Bird vs R1 ? If i apply in the Early Bird does it mean that I will get a Yes/No reply sooner than R1 applicants ?
4. Additionally, do early bird applicants get any preference for scholarships over R1 folks? Assuming I apply early, will my application still be considered in R1 if the adcoms are not sure about my app ?
5. As it is the INR pales in comparison to the USD, making us Indian applicants save that much more for B school. When I was thinking about hiring an admissions consultant, it dint take me long to do the math to realize that hiring one meant I would have to let go of 2 applicants (at the least). Anybody out there who can throw in your $0.02 ?
6. Does one need to put in GPA into the resume; don't we provide that through the transcripts ?
Thanks in advance.
