I submitted my application on the day of the deadline at around 11.30pm. The following day, at about 8.30pm I received an email saying that I am invited to an interview. Is this normal? I am kinda caught by surprise but hopefully it's just a good sign

Don't want to burst your bubble but many schools invite almost immediately based on GMAT scores, etc. through a quick and easy filter. That said, that got me an interview invite at one of my top schools and ultimately an admission offer! Bottom line is something about your profile is attractive to the school so prep well for your interviews! Best of luck!
