Hi,
I have just received my official GMAT score, so I have all the informations to have my profile evaluated.
age: 26 white man (french)
GMAT: 720 (44; 44; 5,5)
TOEFL: 118

studies:
Master in Business & Management specialized in Finance with honors
(from a Top 20 European B-school)
I spend my last year in a double diploma in Georgia State University in a "MBA" program. So I have both a MBM and a 1 year program MBA
bachelor in Economics with honors
(from a French university)
Experience:
3 years in a French Private Bank in Miami as Weath Manager and became Associate last year (supervising a small team of 4 managers)

Hobbies/ Activities:
Practising taekwondo for 14 years:
- black belt and 2nd dan
- 1st in French University Championship
- 2nd in French Championship
- teaching to kid from 4 to 12 for 5 years
(I had to stop because of my work...)
My hobbies are kind of limited cause I practise 5 times a week.
Member of the Sport Department in my B-scool
- Captain of the volley-ball team
- Played in the Football Team
Why I what to do an MBA?
I loved my corporate finance studies but I get the opportunity to work in the Miami in Private Banking, which was what i always wanted to do.
But during my short carrier, I had the opportunity to work with the Private Equity department for Big clients and i found it So interesting that I asked the Head of Department what should I do to join them.
Basically the answer was: " A Top MBA "
- INSEAD (cause they worked in Europe and It is one of the best their)
- Columbia ( specialisation on Private Equity and localisation are huge advantage)
- Wharton / HBS / Stanford ( high % of financial career after graduation + prestigeous name )
"Back up"
I don't want to think about it now lol, but maybe you can propose me some if you think that I may not fit in my top 5...
Reco:
I don't have them yet but I can get one from:
- my boss
- the Private Equity Director I worked with for a big client
- a big client (the same as above)
What makes me different ?
- First of all, my sport carrier
- I refused to enter in the Taekwondo French Team in order to continue my studies (cause Taekwondo doesn't pay at all in France)
- Maybe my background, I read on an article that the fact both my parents don't have a high school diploma and work as hell to help me paying my studies, could be a positive point to add
So please evaluate my profil and tell me if I am daydreaming
ps: 2 questions about my application
- Is the fact that I already have a "MBA" a bad point for me ? Should I right Gradutate from Georgia State instead of "MBA" ?
- For my recommandation letters, which one should I choose?
Thank you for your time
