These are pretty standard marketing emails. Generally, they send them to anyone who gets a score above the threshold they've set. If you elected to make your score public, they have access to your scores along with along with thousands of others. It's also generally utilized by lower tier programs to get their name out there and put themselves on your radar.

It's more difficult to say if the emails you received from the schools you selected are marketing or not. Without knowing your score and the schools you chose, I'm leaning towards what I wrote above but there are exceptions. People say they didn't get the score they wanted when they get a 590 and some say it when they get a 740. It's all relative

These types of emails don't speak directly to your chances of getting in - the GMAT is just one part of your application. But it does mean your score is within their desired range so that's good news!
