Can anyone rate the Kaplan Premium Online Course?

Hi folks,

Scared of scoring poorly in the math section of the exam I have invested $1299 for the Kaplan Premium Online Course. For my budget it porbably is the single most expensive thing I have ever bought. But I decided to stretch beyond my limits after I realized how poor my math skills are despite repeated practice.

Can anyone tell if this course is any good? Any rating, methodology to use it so I can get the best from it?
Moreover, I read about 10% discount after I made the purchase. Can I call a Kaplan agent and still get the discount or is it too late already?

Thanks, Amber

Call and ask about the discount (mention where you saw it) and I think they will give it to you. If the agent says "no", ask to speak to a manager/supervisor. Be polite but firm.

Unfortunately, I don't know anything about the Kaplan course, so I'm also curious to find out how good it is.

I have almost completed Kaplan online (the one for 600 USD). I am quite happy with my q improvement. From 20 to 43. :D But i am not sure why it happened, just because of Kaplan course or due to my efforts. I never was lousy at math, but i forgot a lot. so, when i too my diagnostic, the score was poor. Kaplan provided some basic info. But i do a lot of OG 11 and companions questions, I am sure that helps as well.

What I have on my desk right now: OG yellow (not completely done yet), green review (have not started yet :D ), Kaplan course. + this forum. I went through many posts/resources that are here in GMAT resouces directory.
I plan to download flash cards and work my way through them as well.
That's all I have for now for Q part. I made 3-4 careless mistakes in my test where I scored 43 in Q, my highest so far. I intend to get rid of them )) hopefully, this will push my Q score higher.
