Prime factorize and then add 1 to the exponents of the various distinct factors and multiply

36*36 = 1296

1296 = 2^4 * 3^4

(4+1) * (4+1) = 25

Hope this helps!

Regards,
CR

Since the given number is a perfect square, total number of its factors must be odd. Only one option 25.
