Which CD-ROM CATests are the best....

by jpshanno » Fri Jun 15, 2007 8:50 am
and where would I acquire a CD without need to purchase a book or take a class?

I took the LSAT last year and I am going to law school in the fall. It was not until recently that I relized my interests in both business and management, and I hope to secure a decent GMAT score before I put myself through the demanding rigors of 1L. Due to my recent LSAT history, I am well versed on the critical reasoning section, and with my thorough background in math I am very comfortable performing the problems posed within the quantitative sections. As a result, I am looking for a good set of CATests to become better prepared for questions the GMAT may throw at me. Does anyone have any suggestions of where I may be able to acquire a single CD with multiple tests on it, or even a location online where I may be able to purchase several tests and then download them as needed? Thank you for your time and help.

I believe you can buy access to practice tests with Manhattan GMAT: https://www.manhattangmat.com.

Otherwise, most practice test CDs can only be purchased along with the books.

FYI you have to have a live Internet connection to use our tests - you do not download them. I know this can be a drawback logistically, but it allows us to more closely mimic the actual test (in terms of providing a very large pool of questions, adding to the pool over time, tweaking the algorithm as we gather more data, etc.).
