Hi.
Have just appeared for GMAT ( 12-Nov - 2011 ). Devastated by a score of 600. a huge variance of 100-120 pts from my practice scores. Q 42 , V31. Got worried in the middle of the test as the last 20-25 qs of Verbal were very easy and finished the Quant section 15 mins ahead of time.
I am a R-2 applicant and have all my essays, reccos ready. My confidence with the GMAT led me to postpone the exam till the very end. Grad results are very average
However, I would like to think that my overall profile is strong.
Work Ex- 8 Years
current role - Area Manager for a channel for the largest pvt life Ins co in India (Span of control - 7 years )
Career marked by a very fast growth and several promotions , letters of appreciations from the MD, Chief of HR, Head of Sales etc.
Had been a key member of the team that devoloped the payout structure for distributors of a major channel of the company
Extra curriculars - above avg
I am sure i can improve on my GMAT score and wanted to reappear within one week. But only came to know now that GMAC needs a minimum gap of 31 days before one can re-appear. The last date for applying is 30 Nov.
My question is show i apply for ISB this year or wait for the next year?
Are re-applicants viewed negatively?
I know it's a long shot but if i make it to the interviews and if i give a GMAT in between and score better, will that help.
Thank you for having a look at this post. Request an early response as I am left with very little time
