we want to find out y/x*100

Given,

x*70/100 = y*50/100

y/x = 70/50

y/x*100 = 7/5*100 = 140%

Let x = 100,
70% of x = 70 = 50% of y
y = 140

y/x % = 140/100 * 100 = 140!
