As you know, these are incredibly competitive programs, and it's often tough for candidates with a profile like yours to stand out - but you're ahead of the curve with that 770. How you do in the admissions process will now depend on your essays. Hopefully you've got strong stories of leadership and achievement in all areas of your life, including some solid extracurriculars and even some work experience or an internship or two along the way. These are the make-or-break factors for most applicants to 2+2 and other such tracks.

For some advice on converting your grades you can start with this post from the EssaySnark blahg: https://www.essaysnark.com/2011/09/gpa-c ... on-stress/ Have never heard that Stanford wants grades converted; most schools do not (Columbia being the primary exception but they're not typically too open to younger candidates so we wouldn't recommend them as a first choice for you probably). We are no experts in the Indian grading systems so honestly can't tell you what the 4.0 equivalent would be, but it appears that it's not as high as many other 2+2 candidates. Be sure to work especially hard in this last year of school! You might even want to delay your apps to a later round if you think you can boost the grades.

The LBS program is strong but not familiar with their placement stats - much depends on what you want to do with the education. You should probably direct questions about placement to the school if you can't find that info on their website.

Good luck with this process - it's a challenge but well worth it!
