sell lobsters

As envisioned by researchers, commercial farming of lobsters will enable fisheries to sell the shellfish year-round, taking advantage of off-season demand, standardize its sizes and colors, and to predict sales volume in advance.
(A) taking advantage of off-season demand, standardize
(B) taking advantage of off-season demand, to standardize
\(C) taking advantage of off-season demand, standardizing
(D) take advantage of off-season demand, standardizing
(E) take advantage of off-season demand, to standardize

A, B, C taking lacks parallelism in list of items so incorrect

in D , standardizing lacks parallelism in list of items

so E is correct.

IMO B. taking acts as a modifier doesn't need to be parallel.
and for e to be parallel to is missing .so safest bet is B

B for me as well, taking...demand is a modifier, which doesn't constitute parallel elements

IMO B.
correct parallelism: enable fisheries to sell.., to standardize.., and to predict.
I don't agree with the fact that we can write the statement as "enable fisheries to sell the shellfish year-round, taking advantage of off-season demand, standardizing its sizes and colors, and to predict sales volume in advance."
please post OE if possible.. and the source as well.. :)

OA is B

and the source is 1000SCs

Only B and E are parallel ...but we need 'taking' as a modifier instead of 'take'.... So B is the right one
