Manhattan GMAT Math book

by MakeitHappen » Mon Apr 26, 2010 4:13 pm
Hey all..am having a hard time finding anything concrete for my gmat math prep. i am not in touch with math at all. so far, i have looked at Kaplan GMAT Premier Program,OG 12th edition and a few basic math resources online to get in touch with math topics. after i go through each topic through resources mentioned above, i try to work on questions but am still not able to get the answers. I dont know where am I going wrong!! I am I not getting the concepts right?? I am getting really worried about how to prepare for the Math section!!!!!!! Pls help me out, this is my 2nd attempt at gmat :( and my confidence is at an all time low!!

What other resources could I possibly use?
From reviews seen online,Manhattan GMAT Math Strategy books are useful for people who are aiming for higher scores. My aim is to get a high score but at this stage without getting the basics right, I don't see any point in investing in them yet. HELP!!!!!!!

The Manhattan Math Strategy guides start with basic concepts and then later have advanced chapters, which are well explained. I am referring particularly to Guides 1 and 3. Some members of this forum feel that Guide 5 could have been better. I've worked with Guides 1 and 3 and would recommend them without any reservations.
