The statement is a case of absence of definition in the pattern of response as it does not differentiate the answer from the underlined statement.

Option B: Invalid
Here, the preposition ''to'' can/may only be used in a context of preference. E.g. '' i Refer rice to Beans''. The mistake he made is the point of discuss and not of his preference had changed.
