OA IS A
w + k = v

(1) v^3 = w^3 implies v = w
Since v = w + k, so w + k = w implies k = 0; SUFFICIENT.

(2) v² = w² implies |v| = |w|
If v = w, then k = 0 but if v = -w, then k = -2w but there can be a number of possible values for k; NOT sufficient.

The correct answer is A.

If w + k = v, what is the value of k

(1) v^3 = w^3

(2) v^2 = w^2

Yes correct the answer turns out to be A.

Statement 2 cannot say with certainty that v = w, hence the correct answer is A and not D...
