Hi tass@,

This is a poorly worded prompt.

It is unclear if each man and each woman does the same amount of work per day. It's also unclear if the "2 mean and 5 women" are EACH doing 1/4 of the work in 3 days or if the GROUP is doing 1/4 of the work in 3 days. The question itself is unclear as well - is it asking how many men we need or how many ADDITIONAL men we need.

While the GMAT will test the concepts of "work" and "rates", this question is not a valid example of how the GMAT will present either idea.

Hi tass@,

Definitely not a GMAT-calibre question.
Rather than study from whatever (non-GMAT-like) resource you got this question from, stick with official GMAT questions and questions from reputable companies. Otherwise, you won't be adequately prepared for test day.

Cheers,
Brent
