There are 99 numbers included in 101-199 inclusive
There are 100 numbers included in 200-299 inclusive
There are 51 numbers included in 300-350 inclusive

There are a total of 250 numbers

The only numbers that have a 2 in the hundreds place is the range of numbers from 200-299. There are 100 of these as noted above.

Then P("2 in the hundreds place") is 100/250 = 2/5
