Cheese costs \(C\) cents for \(1\) ounce.

So, for \(16\) ounces (for 1 pound), it costs \(16C\).

Now \(100C = 1\) dollar.

Then \(16C = X\) dollars.

Cross multiplying, gives \(\dfrac{4C}{25}\).

Therefore, A is the answer.
