Best GMAT book for first month overview?

by AA11 » Thu Jul 29, 2010 9:58 pm
I'm planning to take the GMAT sometime in November. I'm in my home country right now and I don't have access to the Manhattan books or the OGs so my plan is study from a general book till I get back to the States (3 weeks) and then I will have around 2.5 months to go through the OGs and the Manhattan books. What order should I study in for those? And could you guys suggest a book with a good overview if I'll also be going through the OGs and Manhattans? Please select from the books below because these are the only books available here. If there is anyone else here from Pakistan and knows about the availability of more books, please let me know!

Cracking the GMAT with DVD
Kaplan GMAT 800
Kaplan GMAT 2011: premier with cd-rom
Kaplan GMAT advanced 2009-2010: intensive prep for top students (perfect score series)

www.gmathacks.com has great math materials available via PDF. I wouldn't purchase its verbal...I want my money back! =)

Any of those books you have right now would give you great intro, and the forum here has a lot of great discussions of OG questions.

You should have plenty to work with for 3 weeks.
Yep.
