is toefl score mandatory for round 1 application ?

To schedule toefl exam, I could not find any date within next 20 days. Latest date available in chennai is 26 October.

Would the colleges consider my application for round 1 without toefl scores?

Most schools require all exam scores (TOEFL and GMAT) to be submitted by the application deadline. However, you should contact the admissions office directly to be sure.
