Doubt:What is meant by the below explanation given in the solution -

" The preposition LIKE must be followed by a comparative phase while the conjunction AS must be followed by a comparative clause"

Like is used to compare two nouns whereas as is used to compare actions

Hey,
I guess it would be better if you can add image rather than attachment from next time. Because, we have to download the attachment and then read the problem.Moreover, downloading attachments from this forum is a problem with Chrome. If images are added, we can easily view them without downloading.

Because i wanted to attempt this question . I have already taken the free cat . I intend to take the other cats. Dont want the CATs to get skewed .

As for your question , you are just getting puzzled by the complex terms .
like must be followed by a phrase .
A phrase is a clause without a subject + verb
