If n is an integer, is 10n ≤ 0.001 ?

(1) n ≤ -2

(2) n > -5

A. Statement (1) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (2) alone is not sufficient.
B. Statement (2) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (1) alone is not sufficient.
C. BOTH statements TOGETHER are sufficient, but NEITHER statement ALONE is sufficient.
D. EACH statement ALONE is sufficient.
E. Statements (1) and (2) TOGETHER are NOT sufficient.

Prompt after rephrasing asks us if LHS is less than/ equal to a Positive number:?

ST 1 :

n is always a negative number. so will LHS. It is clear than LHS is < RHS Sufficient

St 2:

n>-5. there is a possibilty that n can be positive /negative.
Insufficient

Is it 10^n or 10n?

10^n<=1/1000

stmt1,

n<=-2

n=-2 10^n>=1/1000

n=-4 10^n<=1/1000

Insuff

stmt2,

n>-5

n=1 10^n>=1/1000

n=-4 10^n<=1/1000

Insuff

Combining 1 and 2,

-5>n<=-2

n=-2,-3,-4.Same scenario exists here.

n=-2 10^n>=1/1000

n=-4 10^n<=1/1000

Insuff
