If the operation \(\Delta\) is one of the four arithmetic operations addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, is \((6 \Delta 2)\Delta 4 = 6 \Delta (2\Delta 4)\)?

1) \(3 \Delta 2 > 3\)
2) \(3 \Delta 1 = 3\)

Question => is (6Δ2) Δ 4 = 6 Δ ( 1 Δ 4 ) ?
Statement 1 => 3 Δ 2 > 3
if Δ = addition 3 + 2 > 3 then ( 6 +2 ) + 4 = 6 + ( 2 + 4 )
if Δ multiplication 3 * 2 > 3 then ( 6 * 2 ) * 4 = 6 * ( 2 * 4 )
Δ can only be addition or multiplication as subtraction or division will not satisfy 3 Δ 2 > 3 and ( 6 Δ 2 ) Δ 4 = 6 Δ ( 2 Δ 4 ) for addition and multiplication.
Statement 1 is SUFFICIENT
Statement 2 => 3 Δ 1 = 3 only multiplication and division satisfies the expression but for ( 6 Δ 2 ) Δ 4 = 6 Δ ( 2 Δ 4 )
it is true for multiplication and false for division.
Hence, statement 2 is NOT SUFFICIENT
Answer = option A
