available for VS available to

Not so clear between the difference
* Is one of them idiomatic ?
* Or depending upon situation one is preferred over other.
There are, according to my doctors, many courses of treatment available to me
why is "available to" correct in above sentence ? why not available for ??

Extending on above question ...
Whats the difference between 'available for non-members' and 'available to non-members' ??

Unfortunately, "available to" is one of those idioms that one needs to memorize.
When you're using "available" in the context "available to something/someone", always use "to".
When you're using "available" in the context "available for download", "available for testing purposes", etc. use "for".
Hope this helped.

I guess not, I think the following are correct usage

* the latest model of car is now available to order ( not available for order )
* Experts are available to discuss
* Experts are available for discussion

Is available for download correct ??
the following site uses "https://www.nlm.nih.gov/mesh/filelist.html" available to download ( its a US govt site )

When I read the question, my reasoning was same as Lilu's, but reading further comments I got confused.
Each soul is potentially divine. The goal is to manifest this divine within.

In "available for download"- download is a noun, that is why you use "for"
In "available to download" - download is a verb-gerund (to do what), so you need to have "to" there
Different context, different use
