Very easy question

Answer is B

Y ?

In statement I it gives only a ratio so we cannot use it to find the actual figures

Look at statement II

If one more person joins and the cost is shared equally , then they have to pay less , and the amount is given which is $15 so that actually tells you the total rent so its sufficient

Illustration

3 friend , say the amount is d so per friend ----->d/3

4 friends , amount is again d , so per friend -----> d/4

but the difference = 15

so d/3 - d/4 = 15 or d = 15*12 = $180
