What have you done to prepare for verbal to this point? And what is your biggest weakness in verbal? Is it CR, SC, or RC?

With only 15 days you don't have a lot of time to significantly improve all three areas so you should probably choose your 2 weakest areas and try to improve them.

Have you read MGMAT SC guide? It is very valuable. I have also found powerscore CR bible to be useful.

Thanks for ur reply :)
For my weakness:
Act i dono if i'm tired I dont do good in all three areas.
Though I can manage around 80% right in CR and RC sometimes. My SC is very weak and i've read MGMAT SC and CR, focusing on OG-10 just now.. I find difficulties in CR only regarding particular set of questions about assumptions, argument structure and paradoxial type ques. RC is bettr but SC!! :? Its tougher for me to spot the errors and i mostly do it by the gut feeling..

Also with around 50 score in quant can i pls know how much would i have to get in verbal section to hit 700+ mark??

Since you are weakest in SC, focus your study on that mate.

What to do?

SC:

- Skim through MGMAT SC to refresh the ideas every once in a while.
- Participate in the SC forums.
- MUST DO: Keep track of ALL your mistakes. Open a notepad/Word on the side and write your mistakes there. Update this document whenever you make a mistake in SC. Review the document everyday for 5-10 minutes to refresh the concepts in your head.
- Focus on questions from OG10, OG11, OG12 and OG Verbal Review.
- Test yourself on 10 questions at a time. Don't time yourself at first. Once you are hitting 8+ questions correct, then time yourslf on 14 minutes per 10 SC questions.
- MUST DO: Review both correct and wrong answers mate. Make sure you understand the concepts.

CR:

- Read PowerScore CR Bible (Focus on the ones you are weak at).
- MUST DO: Make sure you are able to identify the premises and the conclusion mate. Getting a rough idea about the argument is pretty much guessing.
- Always look for other causes, the answer is usually there.
- Hopefully you will have more time on this as you get better in SC.

RC:

Nothing much to say here, other than just read slowly and understand the thesis very well. Also you might wanna write some key notes. You would almost never read the notes, but they could help you stay focused in your reading and not space out.

Hope this is helpful mate.

Doable :) (If no job or other commitments are there)

Make sure you master the SC. This would not only raise your SC score, but it would also give you more time to read and UNDERSTAND CR and RC.

Just do the SC error log. Don't feel down by your mistakes. The more mistakes you make and record while studying, the less you would repeat those mistakes in the real exam.
