First of all congrats for such a gr8 score.

A glimpse of advice is needed and will be appreciated:
I just gave my GMAT a day ago and got 680, verbal(32) shattered my dreams.
As of now am thinking of preparing and appearing within upcming 2 months I dunt know which material I should use for preparing SC and RC.Moreover, am familier with most of OG questions so it wont be a real deal to try those questions again and again.

Some sources for practising RC and SC.

Thanks
Thanks! I'm sorry you didnt get your ideal score. Did you use OG12 only? I also bought OGVerbal and OGQuant (separate books of about 100 q's each) which helped. I've heard that Kaplan 800 is also a decent source of practice questions.

Thanks for replying man.

1>Yes, i practised OG 12 the problem i face most of the times is like am able to eliminate 3 options in CR and when left with two am not able to sort out which is correct.

2>I guess i do better in first two RC and i screw the last two.
Most important i do feel difficult to comprehend a RC related to history.

3> SC is all about practise i guess.

All I need is anything above 700.

MOST IMPORTANT I LACK SELF ANALYSIS SKILLS!!!!
THE REASON I GOT 680 WAS I WASNOT ABLE TO IMPROVE VERBAL AFTER A LEVEL AS I ALREADY SAID AM NOT GOOD AT ANALYSIS .
ANALYSIS WHICH WE DO AFTER A MOCK>
ANALYSIS OF WEAK AREAS, CONCEPTS.

Thanks
looking forward for ur reply.

Hi

A big congratulations for your score - Its awesome!

I just had a question for you: How long did it take for you to prepare for the GMAT? When did you start studying for it and how many hours did you devote to it on a weekday and weekends?

Thanks
Karishma

I studied for about 3 hours a day on weekdays, and 4 hours for the CAT's on Saturdays with about 2 hours of review on Sundays. I did this basically without rest for 12 weeks :) Hope this helps.
Work hard, play hard.
