Congrats on your excellent score. You mentioned that the level of Math on the GMAT was much higher than the OG. Looking back, would it have mattered if you had access to the books available exclusively in India for CAT Math preparation like RS Agarwal, etc.?

I have appeared for the CAT. The Math prep for CAT helped me reach a 46 in Math but to improve it I had to use GMAT math resources.

A good resource for inequalities will be very useful to anyone preparing for the test.

If you are using a CAT book then dont spend too much time on Permuations , Probability, Graph equeations etc. You can use the chapters on "Numbers" and "Inequalities" . CAT material for "Numbers" is the best and will help you crack the difficult GMAT problems.

1. Importance of DS for questions in range 700 - 800

During the exam I observed that the most difficult questions were on Data Sufficieny. R.S Aggarwal does not have too many questions on Data Sufficieny. (I am referring to a book published in 2007). If you find a source for good DS questions then dont miss it. It will improve your score. I recommend BTG Data Sufficiency forum as the best repository. It is awesome.

2. The advantage of spending more time studying DS is that in your mind you are actually solving a PS question using each option. So DS is a superset of PS. So try to spend a lot of time on DS.

You can use any MGMAT Math resource. Their problems are the closest.

Thanks. For CR I used the OG and the questions posted in the BTG CR section. Also used the 1000CR doc. These sources would be quite exhaustive and should be sufficient for scoring well in CR.

You can probably list out the variety of questions you face while solving CR.. Eg:
1. Strenghten/Weaken
2. Assumption
3. Boldface questions
4. Completing the main statement
etc etc

You can see in which variety you need to improve your accuracy and practice more of those questions.
