Rightly said. I think the rule applies everywhere- whether it is in sports or acads- conceptual clarity and then rigorous practice is the way to go .

Rightly said. I think the rule applies everywhere- whether it is in sports or acads- conceptual clarity and then rigorous practice is the way to go .
Intuition also plays an important role. A lot of people don't know english grammar concepts yet do very well because they can figure out what sounds right and what sounds wrong.

I think this applies to me as well. My grammatical grasp is not very strong but I can distinguish between right and wrong sentences easily.

Feel free to post some examples in which you had the sentence narrowed down to two options but struggled to differentiate between them. Perhaps we can help identify the conceptual issues that are tripping you up.

I have a different take here. I think the GMAT doesn't want to test you on the nuances of grammar. Rather it tests you on your logical and aptitude skills even through sentence correction. So the focus should be on things like eliminating options through POE etc.

Any advice for me to improve, I'm getting around 700(my latest score 710 on GMAT prep- quant 49,verbal 38)
And how many days or times did u practise the whole exam(AWA + IR with Q&V) before u gave the GMAT?

I think that 700 is a good score and honestly, +-30 deviation will always remain on any test. You just need to work on some areas a bit and you should be good to go. I think somewhere between 6-8 tests should put you in a really comfortable spot.
