**PLEASE IGNORE THE POLL - I ACCIDENTALLY PUT TWO NO's** - please post your opinion instead

Hi all,

I need some advice....I have just retaken the GMAT and gotten a 720 total score (47Q, 42V), up from 640.

At the start of the test, in the middle of the IR section, the monitor in the centre disconnected and I lost time while I reconnected it.Because of this lost time, I was not able to finish the IR section and got a score of 4 (37th percentile). Previously I had gotten in the 90th percentile for IR.

Can you tell me how serious a problem this is? Are IR scores looked at in reality?

I am very happy to have obtained a 720 and would prefer not to retake for fear of doing worse....

HELP!! Thanks....

Hi charlesjflanagan,

As an aside, I'm not sure if you meant this as a joke or not, but since both of your poll answers are "NO", it sounds like you're not really interested in retaking the GMAT.

With a 720/Q47, you have a fantastic score that puts you in position to apply to any Business School. Unless a representative from a school that you're interested in tells you to retest, you should consider yourself done with the GMAT.

What Business Schools are you considering? And when are you planning to apply?
