Got 660 q44 v37.

by yuri » Tue Nov 13, 2007 7:54 pm
So, it was a long road Kaplan's 350, 520, 570, 590, 630, GMAT's 640, 650, 680, 710, Manhattan's 660. Today is V37, Q44, 660 total. Shocked.
Did everything right - studied super hard, took 11 practice test, bummed out the day before, got a good sleep, walked in to get a 750, and this now. I want to apply to Harvard, NYU, Stanford. I'm a Russian with a great resume. What's the advice guys?

Thank you for this forum, and right now I'm packing my entire office and getting ready to go to Canada tomorrow early morning, so I'll write more, but, Eric and others, Your support has been tremendous and this website deserves a Nobel Prize.

Thank you all.
Yuri

P.S. More later.

sorry to hear that, I hope you have excellent points in other areas of your application.

PS: Changed the title.

Yuri:

I'm really sorry to hear that you didn't reach your target score today--I was really pulling for you.

A 660 is still a good score and with your background you could still be a competitive candidate as is.

I would take a few days of rest and seriously think about whether you want to retake. You may find that your time is better used in focusing on your applications. If you do want to retake, you can have some comfort that this community will be here to support and coach you along the way.

I'm definitely interested in hearing more about your test experience...

All the best!
