From 600(42Q 31V) to 570(48Q 20V)

My first gmat attempt was in Dec 2009 and my score was 600. I was disappointed but optimistic, as I felt I wasn't prepared.
Although my preparation for the second attempt was not perfect, my accuracy was 85% on the SC and CR. Granted, I did not adequately prepare for RC and I know I paid for it during my second attempt. I did not manage my time properly and I had to guess on the latter questions. I also wanted to use the restroom so bad towards the end of the math and verbal but I could not afford to lose 3-6 minutes. My second attempt was in March and my score was 570- Even with the issues on the verbal, I cannot understand how I dropped 11 points.
I want to retake the exam a month from now and I need advice especially with the verbal portion.

I used the following materials for my preparation:

1) MGMAT SC
2) GMAT PREP 1 and 2(retakes though)
3) CR BIBLE
4) VERBAL REVIEW
5) SACKMANN'S MATH SET(which I found to be very useful)

I also need help on tests to use since I have gone through the mgmat tests and gmatprep cats.
Thanks.

Considering your current scores and the the fact that your next attempt would be your third attempt. I strongly discourage you from an attempt in one month. It would be really difficult to explain three attempts without any improvements if this attempt goes wrong. Adcoms will see it as a weakness that you don't plan well.

I suggest you take it two months from now.

1) Take more practice tests. MGMAT CATs are good.
2) Do more practice questions. Aristotle prep has good CR, RC questions based on LSAT.
3) They also have SC questions.
4) If still not enough, I recommend buying more practice. BTG Practice questions maybe?

All d best.
Vineesh,
Just telling you what I know and think. I am not the expert. :)

Thanks Vineeshp, I do agree I may need more than a month. Unfortunately I used up the 6 MGMAT CATS before my first attempt, and I scored between 650-690 on the last three CATS.
I think I need more CATS to improve my test strategies but I'm not sure where to find 4 CATS that mimic the exam. (I've also used up the GMATPREP).
Thanks again.

I think that once you finished your 6 Manhattan cats, you can reset them. I would recommend you to try this.
