GMAT Bombed..should i reappear 660?

by rookiez » Wed Jul 29, 2009 8:31 am
Q =50
V =28
Tot=660

Please guide me on how can I improve Verbal?
Many things happened with me in Verbal:
-I ran out of time
-I wasn't sure on most of the answers...was struggling between 2 options in SC and CR
- RC was also not sure

I got following in prep
1-July MGMAT free test 660
1 week before exam GMATPrep 710
4 days before exam GMATPrep 730

I need a score of atleast 720 to get admission in my favourite Indian School.
Please advice how can I improve my score. I can reappear in a month or I can wait for few months and reappear anytime before May 2010.

What guides do you use for Verbal?

I would recommend the Manhattan Books. I think they're excellent.

Good luck.

You should use the Powerscore CR Bible for CR
Hope that helps.
