Background

I am in my first year out of Top 15 USNWR university, working as a first-year analyst at an MBB management consulting firm. Was looking to prep for and take the GMAT while balancing rigorous and often unpredictable coursework. Planning to start B School in 2017

How I studied

With my heavy case and travel schedule, I was looking for a way to capitalize on free time as I was able to find out (times between meetings at work, at airports, on flights, in hotels, etc.) which ruled out any kind of GMAT prep class or tutor. A friend from school recommended that I try Target Test Prep's flexible online course in order to improve my quant score (44 on the GMAT diagnostic).

Over the course of 8 weeks, I was able to study on my own schedule in an environment that closely mimics what you are going to see on test day. The course runs through detailed chapters on each question topic you may see on the test, including examples of both solution and data sufficiency questions. There are also several chapter tests you can take at the conclusion of each chapter in order to isolate where your strengths and weaknesses are and focus your efforts. Target Test Prep single-handedly got my score to where it needed to be and on my own time and schedule. It made for a hectic 8 weeks but it was worth it!
