I just completed my second attempt at GMAT. heres the breakdown
first attempt: 650 Q 35, V 40
Second attempt: 700 Q 46 V 68% 43 93% IR: an abysmal 3 , 23%
The percentiles on both IR and Quant are really low.
Now the question is how is my consistent bad performance in quant going to affect my applications? i have CFA level 2 and plan on concentrating in finance(risk management). Do i need to retake the test to improve my quant balance? And if i bomb it a third time, am i screwed forever?
In my practice tests i consistently score Q 48, 49 ish with percentiles around 80 but on exam day its very easy for me to get flummoxed and nervous by the simplest of math questions.. so i have there's always a chance i could ruin my third attempt especially when i feel so much rides on my quant section.
What to do!!?? How much do schools look at percentiles?
Thanks in advance.
