@Empirestateofmind : no,i did not take any classroom coaching.I adopted the self-study mode and sought guidance and motivation from forums like BTG whenever required.

Hi del@btg,

Firstly congratulations on your score and hope I will also achieve this score.

You refered to 700-800 level questions in the post. I too used these questions for prep. As I am done with the prep I started doing MGMAT tests. I was astonished to find that all the questions in 700-800 pdfs are from MGMAT tests. While I am doing MGMAT tests, I am able to recognize most of the answers. Did this happen to you? If yes, how did you avoid this from happening?

Thanks for your help.

Well, it did happen to me but the percentage of questions repeated in MGMATs were too low to be a concern(less than 10%).The probable reason is i took MGMATs along the entire length of my preparation and not after completing those pdfs.It also happened many a times that the questions were repeated but the choices were tampered with. This made these questions all the more difficult as your mind is programmed for some different choices and you now have to go about it in a entirely new way.But even with the same choices i feel it should not bother you as far as you are getting answers right as it is keeping a check on whether you did your homework.

Thanks for the wishes and i wish you achieve a higher score than mine.

Thanks for the insightful debrief. While preparing for the Verbal section didn't you feel like using the Powerscore CR Bible or Manhattan CR Guide ? I am good at CR but wondering whether I should use these books or not.

Well, as i mentioned in my debrief i was good at CR.The reasoning come instinctively to me.I didn't wanted to disturb my way of thinking by overboard theory.Instead,i chose to hone my way of thinking by solving as many variety of questions as i could.I had had a look at powerscore CR,as it is a reverred book suggested by many, but by the look of it i knew the book was very detailed and not meant for me.SC was the only verbal section in which i had to do away with my basic instincts and thus followed Manhattan SC diligently.
