Finally hit my target range on the GMAT! My quant section was still a hot mess, but I made up for it with my verbal score (Q36/V46). I know the slant towards the verbal isn't a good thing, especially for a quant heavy program like an MBA, but I improved from my previous score of 620 (Q34/V40) so am celebrating all the same.
The funny/frustrating thing is that I've only been studying for the quantitative section for the past couple of months so I'm surprised that my verbal score went up by as much as it did. I'm also surprised that my quant score went up at all since I panicked and ran out of time. I probably could score higher if I tried again, but I'd rather make it in time for R3 deadlines instead of delaying to R4 and taking the GMAT for the third time. Taking it twice (while working full time) nearly killed me, I don't think I could do it again!
