Hi All

First let me say that am not the ordinary test taker - I am 36 years old (& the last time I took a test was in 1996 :)) I am actually aiming for one of the Exec programs targetting mid management executives. So, how did I study

a) Did nothing but did the GMAT books for Maths & English.
b) Bought the online 800score.com both for Maths and English.
c) Practise, practise & more practise.
d) Considering that I have full time work pressure + family (with 2 young kids) , I studied for 3 months out of which 2 be honest it was 1 month hard core.
e) Regular studies - somehow managed to do at least 2 hours / day other than weekends (family time :)).
f) Got the basics cleared first and then took tets and exercises.
g) Followed up this forum on a regular basis.
h) Downloaded loads of FREE STUFF from the net for practise.
i) Took 6 FULL LENGTH TESTS (sat for the full time).
j) AWA - 800score.com tutorial helped on how to write (there are some key words that the graders like to see).
k) Chill and have fun.

I must mention that in all my prep exams I never scored below 700 - so 690 was actually "just missed" score - but am happy so do not intend to take it again. All the best to all. Let me nknow if anyone wants any feedback. All the best !
