Hi All,

I am interested in Marketing research programs. Googling doesn't help considering it spits out all Marketing programs.

By saying Market research I mean, Quantitative Market research and Consumer behavior. So far I have listed out the following in the order of interest.
1. Duke
2. Kellog
3. Haas
4. Ross
5. Columbia
6. McCombs
7. University of Wisconsin

I would appreciate your thoughts about these schools and any additional schools that you may have in your mind.

Hey' I'm interested in the same concentration.

Right now my list looks like this (but it changes from day to day) keep in mind that I have a bias to end up in the northeast:

1 Kellogg
2 Tuck
3 Duke
4 Ross
5 NYU
6 Cornell
7 Wisconsin

If I were more open to the south, texas would be on mine too. Haas has been on my radar too, but I fear i'd be stuck on the west coast.

What jumped out to you about Columbia over NYU?

Also Booth is strongly considered one of the best schools for quantitative marketing, I keep coming back to them, but I'm not sure if I'll be applying.

Thanks for responding. I too am interested in North east but don't mind moving down south for a good school.

Columbia Vs NYU : It's more a personal choice and stupid statistics!!!. Recruitment and Yield rates seem to be better at Columbia. To be frank I am biased towards Columbia because of rankings and I am trying to find reasons to justify that.

I just looked at Booth, https://www.chicagobooth.edu/fulltime/ac ... mngmt.aspx it seems attractive as well.

For me, NYU vs Columbia, its 100% fit. Columbia just comes off a bit stuffy to me. If I were going for finance, I'd pick columbia in a heartbeat, but when it comes to marketing I think NYU has a slight nod. But honestly, I dont think its a huge difference.

I currently live in boston, would love to go to school here, but I dont have the stats for harvard, and MIT isnt a good fit. I'll be applying this year for 2013 (class of 2015).

I am also interested in a strong marketing program, particularly in industry/services/Mktg Consulting/B2B (Not CPG). My initial list currently is:

Kellogg
Indiana Kelley
Booth
Haas
NUS
Rotman
Ross
UCLA
Fuqua

I'm not too sure about them as I haven't researched them all in depth. Honestly, I find it very difficult to come across good marketing programs.

Anyone has any comments?
