The GMAT beats me

by Lilac » Tue Jan 29, 2008 5:10 pm
I took the GMAT exam twice and I got terrible horrible grade,I got 230.

The school gave me the last chance to improve my grade, if I didn't pass it

this time they will put me on hold and not giving me any other classes. The

school gave me till the end of April as a last chance, the problem is I have 3

master classes and I don't know how to manage between these classes and

the GMAT, I have 3 months to prepare and I don't know should I take the

exam once or twice during these three months.

I need your advice please how can I beat this monster.

You need an introspection,
You need to know where you are standing, where you want to go, what are you weaknesses, how to manage....

Thanks simplyjat for your replay.

I need to learn how to convert word problem to equations and I think this is an important part and need lots of practice.

I have three months, and I want to take your opinions, should I schedule for the exam at the end of the three months or in the middle and in the end of the three months?

You should take the exam, one month after you feel confident...

For word translations there is a good book from Manhattan. Actually they hav e eight different books for GMAT, I recommend you buy all of them ($16 a piece on amazon)

I would get a math tutor ASAP, master the word problems, then worry about the GMAT.
