Schulich vs Melbourne business school

by kashefian » Mon Mar 07, 2011 9:22 pm
I have offers from Melbourne business school (Australia) and Schulich Business School (Canada). Regarding reputation, networking, future career options and job placements and average salary, which school do you recommend? Any advice is appreciated.

Hello,

Congratulations on your acceptances! They're both great programs. Which is better therefore would be contextual - it depends on your goals. You should compare their recruiting in the industry and type of company you'd like to work for. Great career options in finance won't help if you want to pursue A CIO trajectory, or vice versa.

Best regards,

Dear Cindy,

Thank you for your helpful advice. Actually, I have selected MBS as I think Australia would be a better place to live and work after graduation. Moreover, the alumni profile shows that MBS graduates were more successful in getting into Management Consulting jobs which is my main target for work after graduation.

Best regards,
Arash
