Took my GMAT today and scored as low as 600(Q44,V28) devastated and broken apart. 3 months of hard work just came to an end today with a bang of such a low score on the screen.
My Experience.
Got picked up by the first few initial questions on the quant section and thereby lost my calm there and then could hardly concentrate on any thing after tht even what ever I have scored in the quant looks good to me taking into account the stress I went thru in the middle of the exam. Remember the clock showing 20 and 20 questions yet to go some how managed the speed thnks to all the DS I got later licked the score later but PS got me in all th problems.
Verbal: Even after stressful start with the quant section started verbal with my best effort and tried to push it there the things looked really simple to me in the verbal nor where the SC tht tough nor the RC's. Ironically all my passages where worth a read and none boring seemed like a breeze. But as it happens even after the whole confidence of doing it well ended with a low score there. Just cant figure out a reason for the same.
All the time I have been reading the posts on here I generally found people saying quants is easier or of the same level as the GMATPrep but to my dismay the level of the real exam was much higher thn showcased in the OG or else where in the GMAC materials.
and ironically again I have read people saying the verbal on the real exam is much tough and the passages are really tough and boring for me not even one passage was boring. May be there is the difference between those who are scoring good and those scoring bad like me.
Now tht told my experience I need some real concrete advice from all who have gone thru similar experiences what shall i do next. Undoubtedly I will take another attempt but where to start from and what to do where do i find those similar questions to GMAT. OG Doesn holds to the standard. I am again planning to give an attempt in the month of december. Will tht be too soon to go for another try. Almost memorized the GMAT Prep questions so tht doesn holds good now any more as already attempted with tht like 6 times.

640 prep 1
620 prep 2
700 prep 1 retake (hardly saw any repeat questions )
680 prep2 retake
(I have always been consistent in the quants at 48-49 but the scores have majorly fluctuated on the verbal ranging from as low as 25-36)
I went expecting a 650+ atleast and wold have been more then happy to core tht and give it all another try to boost my score to700+ but now with this things jut look in a bad shape to me doubtflu if even i can make the score i want
Please help me with ur suggestions Experts advice solicited plz help me thru this dilemma or help me realize where did I go wrong.
